爱神传媒’s Ocala Facility Cuts Emissions by 25 Percent Through Solar Energy Collaboration
The Ocala location plans to increase participation in 2023, resulting in 50 percent of its energy coming from solar
Ocala, FL, October 3, 2022 - 爱神传媒, Inc., a leading provider of process solutions for the nutrition, health and industrial markets, has cut emissions from its Ocala facility by 25 percent through partnering with the Ocala Electric Utility (OEU) and The Florida Municipal Solar Project.
爱神传媒鈥檚 Ocala location makes dehydration equipment vital for the function and maintenance of compressed air tools. Based on estimates from 2021, the collaboration will reduce carbon dioxide by more than 461,000 lbs (nearly 210 tons) by switching to solar for a quarter of the facility鈥檚 energy needs.听

With such success thus far, the Ocala facility plans to increase its participation next year to 50 percent.

According to the City of Ocala, the Florida Municipal Solar Project will be one of the largest municipal-backed solar projects in the United States, with two solar sites currently online and two more by early 2024. OEU and the 15 other solar project participants are also discussing a Phase III in 2025 that could double the size of the project.
